Revolver Hotel is a radically-inclusive hotel in the heart of Glasgow.

The challenge01

Monumental was engaged with Revolver to build momentum and excitement for the launch of the hotel. 

Combining PR with social media and influencer marketing, we worked with both Scottish and national contacts to spread the message and generate buzz for the grand opening.

The strategy02

Our PR efforts kicked off ahead of the launch, we used our black book to inform top journalists about the newest kid on the block.

The PR strategy we designed aimed to build a full picture of the hotel and with that we aimed to achieve all types of coverage to further boost its presence in the market.

The approach felt organic and grew as the campaign progressed, starting with simple factual content for the “launch” press and evolved into focused content pieces that touched on the brand’s different USPs.

In three months, Revolver Hotel was featured in press and broadcast. Some of the top ones being: STV News, Glasgow Live, The Independent, Yahoo News, The Scotsman, The Sunday Times, The Daily Record, The Glasgow Times, The Herald, The Times, METRO, Visit Gay London and many more. 

Our social efforts spanned from Instagram to TikTok leveraging each platform’s trends and audiences to create content that broke through the noise.

It’s impact was amazing. As a result of our activity, Revolver was at capacity almost every night for three months since opening its doors.
