Fafa’s, Finland’s biggest gourmet food chain, came to Monumental to generate brand awareness around the grand opening of their first UK location in London.

CHALLENGE

Fafa’s is a Finnish fast gourmet food chain that opened its doors to its first ever London store in September 2019. Serving healthy and nutritious street food, Fafa’s menu consists of pita breads and salads – a new element of the London menu is Fafa’s breakfast. The chain focuses mainly on fresh, handmade, vegan and vegetarian food.

Strategy

With Fafa’s grand opening, Fafa’s needed some help getting the word out to Londoners that they have officially arrived in London. With that, we have helped Fafa’s develop a brand personality that targeted and appealed to the audience in London through visually pleasing Instagram graphics, food shots and captions. This created a solid foundation for Londoners to engage and understand what Fafa’s values and brand is about.

Once this aesthetic was established, we pushed brand awareness and store footfall campaigns for Fafa’s targeting the local area as well as Finnish expats living in London. On top of this, we hosted competitions on Instagram on a monthly basis to increase engagement, followers and brand visibility.
