The challenge
- Monumental was engaged to help with the grand opening of the restaurant. We were required to introduce the restaurant to the area, drumming up interest for the grand opening event, whilst also generating attention when the venue was open to the public.
- This involved engaging with press and influencers to help spread the word and create a buzz.
The strategy
A four-week multi-channel strategy was implemented, combining PR, social media, and influencer marketing:

- Goal: Highlight El Santo’s uniqueness and make it the city’s hottest new opening.
- Activities: Introduced the concept to the press with complimentary visit offers; invited influencers to the grand opening and subsequent visits to maintain buzz.
Social Media
- Platforms: Instagram and TikTok.
- Content: Created bespoke, trendy content using the restaurant’s moody interior and visuals of food and ambience.
- Goals: Increase brand awareness, boost engagement, drive website traffic, and build a strong social presence showcasing El Santo’s culture and quality.
