1. We all love a bit of Social Media Stalking….

Come on now, don’t be shy. We have all, at least once, stalked someone on social media. Whether it is a cute guy or girl you met on a night out, or innocently checking how much weight that ex has gained. We’ve all done it. Don’t worry, we are all sweet but psycho at times. One of the main SEO Tips and Tricks you should follow is applying your stalking skills in other ways. You need to keep an eye on your competitors and get ahead! Have a little stalking sesh and find certain keywords you want to incorporate and invest in the right competitive analysis tools. 2. Give Your Content a Make-Over!

Imagine you are going through a bit of a rough patch in your life. You have forgotten what it’s like to pamper yourself. Your hair is looking frazzled, your skin is in dire need of a face mask. So what should you do? You treat yourself to a make-over, of course! The same goes for your old content. Don’t let it sit there and feel neglected, know its value. To gain the most SEO value from your old work is by making new alterations and updating previous content. Giving your content a make-over is one great way to generate more traffic but for a better understanding of how to do this applying for an SEO Course will do the trick. Due to the organic nature of SEO, your web content must be constantly updated intermittently over a period of several months. Tracking is the name of the game here; keep an eye on which keywords are achieving the most traffic and optimise accordingly. Your web content should be enjoying a makeover at least once a week to achieve sparkling results.

3. Link-Building is Crucial

Knowledge that link building is crucial for a site’s SEO ranking is a digital marketer’s bread and butter. But it’s not always clear to everybody how to go about constructing these seemingly magical connections. Hence, another of our SEO tips and tricks is to choose your anchor text very carefully. This choice of word affects your SEO ranking more than you would think. Google can tell if you are simply stuffing keywords into your content by assessing the context of these words within the surrounding text. Also, rather than focusing solely on using keywords for the anchor text, actionable phrases also have power of their own. Using phrases such as, ‘click here’, or ‘this page’ may seem like spam but they will draw the attention of the person browsing the page. This can be more beneficial than simply stuffing keywords.
